The aim of the Conference is to provide the most comprehensive and effective exchange of information on current developments in the management of manufacturing systems and Industry 4.0. Manufacturing systems tend to be developed mostly based on lean or agile approaches to reach high level of competitiveness in global environment. The ambition of the MMS 2016 conference is to establish channels of communication and disseminate knowledge among professionals working in manufacturing and related institutions. Therefore, we cordially invite experts, researchers, academicians and practitioners in relevant fields to share their knowledge from the field of management of manufacturing systems at the Conference.

The event is endorsed by the European Alliance for Innovation, a leading community-based organization devoted to the advancement of innovation in the field of ICT and will be co-located with the 2nd edition of SmartCity360 Summit

Publication

Full, peer reviewed, articles will be submitted for inclusion to the EAI/Springer book series (EAI/Springer Innovations in Communications and Computing)
Accepted and reviewed authors will be invited to submit extended versions of their articles to Special Issue in EAI Endorsed Transactions on Smart City. Invited papers without review can be presented, however will not be published.

Best Papers will be considered for publication in the ACM/Springer Mobile Networks and Applications Journal (MONET)
